Open Education Week is taking place March 7-11th. BCcampus is supporting these activities through co-ordination, sponsorship, or co-promotion.  These offerings are a rich combination of online and onsite events to help you learn more and celebrate Open Education Week 2016!

The Role of Support Units in the Use and Creation of Open Textbooks Heather Ross & Jordan Epp, University  of Saskatchewan

Join a team of instructional designers the University of Saskatchewan and two post secondary librarians from the BCOER Librarians who will discuss ways that educational developers, librarians and others on campus can support individual instructors, departments and colleges to integrate open educational resources.
This online session is a joint offering of University of Saskatchewan and BCcampus.

Engaging Students in Open Education Open Education Week Panelists Join us on March 10th from 1:30-3:00 pm for a panel discussion highlighting open courses, projects and initiatives from UBC and beyond.
Lighting Talks: Each speaker will present for 8 minutes and respond to questions for 5 minutes. This will be followed by a broad panel discussion about open practice.
This workshop is an offering of the UBC CTLT.
